He was good (and ohhhh, so beautiful ;) ) , but I think Joanne was the better actor. I so agree with you on the Three Faces of Eve. :)
Have you ever seen her in "Sybil"? (in that one she comes full circle: she plays a psychiatrist. ;) )
It's a TV-movie (out on DVD) which describes the struggle of a woman with 16 personalities, and the help she gets from het psychiatrist. Brilliantly acted, by both Sally Field ánd Joanne Woodward.
