GJDENT I think they mean chlorinated, a mixture with chlorine.

113 is the number of solves when I solved it.

Butternut squash and pumpkin are my favourite as well.

I haven't heard of that word clorinated. What does it mean? I like to ask the friends what words mean. Sweet potato fries are my favourite.

I still keep checking in, looking for new growth... :) Hope your well.

Yes, it's chlorinated. I think the water authority did the big annual cleansing dose of free chlorine sometime back. I stopped having house plants altogether because of the miserable lives I gave them. If this one doesn't root & be happy, I'll feel all that guilt all over again.

warbler

Wow! Look at that! Is your water clorinated? I wonder if that could effect the roots. Just thinking. Keep us updated, my friend!

puzzeljac

Yep I know morning glories, they are beautiful but I don't want it in my garden. They kill other plants. I hope your potato will flower. Maybe you can show it by than♥

BrightSky9

Sweet potatoes are kin to morning glories, which I think you have, Ank. They have trumpet-shaped flowers, white with purple centers. I doubt my sweet potato will bloom, even though I expect to pot it in soil eventually. Somehow, I feel they need to be outdoors to get into real sweet-potato life. It's a week in the water & no roots yet, which surprises me, not even little tiny rootlets.

We have 2 kinds of sweet potatoes - light colored ones and deeper colored ones (orange, they are). The U.S. Agriculture Department decided to call the darker ones "yams." Americans use that, "yams" - sometimes for the darker ones (which my sister says have more taste) or sometimes for any sweet potato. But real yams are African.

puzzeljac

Ah.. there it is again. Yes this looks nice. Does it also flower? Hugs
