You are possibly right Anne as, now I think of it, I have not been around many wattle trees for a long time and there are not too many growing in our area which is a bit of a shame as the Golden Wattle is Australia's floral emblem.

@Pammi
Maybe the difference in vegetation where you are now versus back then? I know that moving from southern Ohio certainly helped me. Wisconsin didn't have those nasties. But since I've been in NM for nearly 17 years I've developed a couple new ones....sigh, sigh

Pammi

Wow, I clearly remember the dreadful hay fever every spring when I was younger. Every August just as the wattle prepared to come into its spring bloom I knew for sure that in no time flat I would once more succumb. For some unknown reason, I have not had it for a long time for which I am more than grateful. ☺☺☺

Atsutsa

Yes, indeed. My allergies are pretty specific, Juniper, and what's called "pig weed" which is pretty ubiquitous here. But Juniper is the worst, cottonwood in between. We hit 72 degrees today, but that probably won't happen tomorrow as it clouded up in the early evening.

I've never been "blessed" with allergies, and rarely get sick. I think teaching little ones has made me immune to lots of viruses.

My question is it allergies or that stinking late cold! In my case, they feel the same! :((

Atsutsa

Thanks, Impie. Itchy runny eyes, stuffy nose, scratchy throat. I'll get past it - but sooner I hope than later.

Impie

♫..it's the season to be 'polly' ♫ ....yes Anne....the joys of Spring....although usually my 'dry' eyes will bother me, I don't necessarily have to sneeze much!
Take care! ♥
