Hi JM_Cookie, it's always interesting to see glimpses of days past. Thanks.
Radial railways were every were in 1915. They are electric street cars and trolleys. Some are still running in big cities to day. This one is from Hamilton and was one of several radial lines that serviced the area around the city. The cars were pulled by horse until around 1880 to 1890 then they switched to electric. Around 1925 to 1930 they got replaced buy the bus.
The tree you see is an early telephone pole.
Wonderful old picture. Radial Railway - do you know if that's the name of the Company or a specific kind of railway system? Love the pole too - seems to be an untrimmed tree trunk. Thanks for and old and interesting puzzle.
The Radial Railway comes to Oakville Canada in 1905
