I haven't been around for a couple of days due to family emergency, but I'm glad to see you liked the Jag. I have to admit and I know I'm outnumbered by almost everyone including my own brother that I like the Jags without the lens covers. Please don't think too badly of me. However, I do like this version with the taillights above the bumpers.
I also didn't go into the great engineering was not followed up with very good craftsmanship. My uncle had one, and told me that the early ones had good interiors and wouldn't run,, and then the later ones ,,, would run, but their interiors fell apart. ha ha... They did have some quality control issues. but they were neat looking... ha ha. It's too bad that they weren't built at the Rolls Royce factory. Same country, entirely different factory company. oh well... not built with the quality of VW or Porsche, or Mercedes. ,,, but they did look good and fast... The engine was engineered good too, but same problems with quality... best engine,,,, straight 6 overhead cam Hemi. Now just try to find a good one. Like I said, good engineering needs good quality craftsman to put it together. and, about the rain.... It usually doesn't rain here in Arizona.... but right now we are having a monsoon. I'm not going out in that. There are people drowning out there. that's permanent. Pat.
Very good interesting information. thanks Jack... although some may go faster,,,, none look any smoother than this one, for sure. I like it's smooth flowing contours. I think this is the smoothest looking car ever.... there are others which come close, but not like this one.... it is way out there by its self. and, Yes, I like GT-40's. but this one is still smoother looking. Just my view point. I love the car, and thanks to mustang67 for the picture puzzle. Pat.
