Gladstone, you're most welcome, I appreciate you stopping by and taking time to comment. Laurajane, I'm with you, bizarre! My husband once got mad at me for nagging him to trim, and I won't tell you what he shaped one of the shrubs into! Thanks, Lyndee, and Ank. So glad you like my pix!

puzzeljac

Hi girls. Sorry and boy. Bizarre, Sandy and Laura you're right. I love the normal look and yes you can cut it, but please in a normal way. I like things growing the way they want. And Morris I agree about that photos, your own are the best. Tex don't think this photos are boring. They are great. They are showing your neighborhood, the place where you live. They are showing the way you see your world. This are the photos I like most. And you are a good photographer. So dear let them coming, I will love to solve them.
But this was the last for today, I'm later as normal, I go in a hurry with Micky and then to bed. See you

lyndee

Oh Oh, I better go check my shrubs!!!!

Gladstone

Thank you for sharing your pictures.

I lived for a few years in Guatemala and a friend there shaped all of her bushes into animals. She called it art. I called it...well, bizarre!

Great, Morris and Chickie. If we get hungry enough, we can start up a lawn maintenance company! And I'm glad you like my photos, Morris, I was a might embarrassed to post them because they're rather boring compared to everyone else's. So I appreciate your compliment.

That is what most people want though. A perfectly symmetric looking yard. I have the same humble opinion as you tu.
I really enjoy "your" pics, tex. Nothing against the ones you posted from the internet. But I really enjoy the ones people take themselves. You give us a chance tu see the world thru your eyes.
Just another humble opinion!

Agree. I do not like bushes (evergreen or otherwise) that have been trimmed into a form. I like the natural look myself. I have seen people down here shape burning bushes and forsythia and they really look bad (in my humble opinion).

texasstar7

Actually they don't. I was on the trails below the street. If you're on the street, you can see right past the hedges, and they look so ugly. God never made a bush that you can set a cup of coffee on! More natural look would be in order, and you know they can certainly afford it, yes?

chickiemama

Hey, I see some color back there. I couldn't figure out if that was a hedge or a sort of rock formation. They definitely have privacy.

texasstar7

I wish they'd get a more creative gardener to trim those hedges!
