Federico Jiménez - The Judgement of Paris (1882)
Why are you reporting this puzzle?
The only information I have been able to discover about the artist is his name, Federico Jiménez.
This version shows a curious reinterpretation of the myth through parody. Here we see a rooster "judging" three hens. The golden apple is laying on the ground in between them. For me, the use of barnyard animals to portray the myth is whimsy at its fineness.
This work was purchased by the Museum of Prado in 1882.
