Wonderful - I'll have to try that this year! I think I've let ours get too big, therefore way too tough. Thanks!

If you get them early they are quite tender and you can grill whole or cut into short lengths and saute them. (recipes online) I also make tiny slices (when not so tender) to freeze and add later to other dishes.

So you take them before the head opens up - what do you do with them? I love these things and we grow a lot of garlic!
