Yes @pigjawsuzzle we have all learnt to wear helmets and seat belts in cars. Yes it has saved so many lives I am pleased to say.

@CJ45 Likewise, except I was 2 years younger. Living next to a police station required the wearing of helmets!!

My first ride on a Bonneville when I was 16 we did 100 MPH I was pillion ( no crash helmets) but what fun then I had my own bike A Triumph Tiger 199 cc but the sport version, then a Honda Super dream 250cc that could do 100 mph such fun.

@landscaper Even more powerful in the early 70s, increased to 750cc.
