Yes Jacki - I noted that they are called Amaryllis in some countries:))) Our mild climate is probably similar to southern California - and parts of Florida too, so they do well here outside. We don't get frosts - or snow, and the winter nights don't drop below 5C or 6C - about 40F!! Thanks:)))

i thought these were amaryllis when i worked the puzzle and now i know how you can grow them outside in brisbane. my aunt has some of these growing outside her house in ramona california. i have to grow them inside if i want them. they are lovely plants.
