Halifax, Nova Scotia...the boardwalk along the harbour

Don't know what a beavertail is? See the link below:

In June we travelled by rail from Vancouver (British Columbia) to Montreal (Quebec) where we spent five nights. We then took an overnight train to Moncton (New Brunswick). Next we drove to Prince Edward Island, Cape Breton (Nova Scotia), and flew home from Halifax.

You're very welcome, Pam. ;)))

Fun to learn about these Canadian pastries, Faye - thanks! ☺︎♥︎

Did everyone see how many calories they'd be gobbling up? LOL

At least it isn't tadpole tails, lela. ;DDD
Thank you, I've only just come in...and on to check my notifications so I'm definitely headed there.

Not nearly as light as French pastries, Andie...but good, hearty food for Canadian winters! ❤️

Suzy and I hoped to, Ardy, but they didn't stay long, this is Nova Scotia. I think she's planning a return that she has all the locations listed! LOl ;DDD

You could start a new franchise in New Zealand, Jill! LOL ;DDD

As with Andie, Hanne...not nearly as light as Danish pastries but lots of it to satisfy your "sweet tooth"! :)))

My sister and I shared one at Whistler, Suzy...we figured what? 900 calories? was enough for each of us! LOl ❤️❤️❤️

Another reason to make a return trip. Did not know of this delicacy until Robbie (?) mentioned it after our return. I could very easily make one of those disappear!!!!

If I ever go to Canada.... looks very attracting.. thanks Faye

Other than being the tail of a beaver no never heard of it, will check it out soon. Fun puzzle anyway :-)

Did you try any of the "world famous pastries" there, Faye? Thanks. ♥♥

Was wondering what it could be I know thanks Faye. ♥☺♥☺♥

I was imagining something totally different!
