Right back at you, Suzy - wishing you a happy holiday season, and a wonderful coming new year. I hope that we'll finally meet you next summer, if you and your husband are still coming to Camden or Freeport. It feels like we're destined to meet, and I'm definitely looking forward to it! ps - The Marriner's is my favorite Camden restaurant for breakfast, but Boynton-McKay is good as well.

Wishing you a wonderful holiday, Debby! With hopes that the new year will allow us an opportunity to meet !

We are hopeful that things "settle" by next year. I bet the place we go for breakfast in Camden is one of the restaurants you have been to! ;) At any rate, we are usually in Freeport once or twice a year...and that is even closer to you! I will give you a head's up when we are in the neighborhood. :)))

My husband Gene and I would LOVE to meet you in Camden. I used to lead hikes there, and there were 2 pretty decent restaurants on the Main Street where we'd meet for breakfast before a hike or snowshoe outing. My husband isn't a hiker, but we could certainly ride up on his motorcycle and meet you at the campground or for breakfast in town if you'd like to eat out one morning!

Oh, if only our paths had crossed in June of 2020, Debby. I was driving from Raymond to Westbrook 3 days a week taking our son to dialysis for 5 weeks. Would have been ever so nice to see a welcoming face (or eyes) ! It would be great to get together somewhere, if not to camp at least to meet! Next year would be our Camden SP year for camping--it's been forever. But who knows what next year will bring? Have put you on a post-it -note on my calendar if you want to delete your comment. :))))

Our son can hear them at his house near Little Sebago. What a sound to fall asleep to!

We used to love hearing the loons at night when we were camping at Rangeley Lake State Park.

Good work by Avian Haven! The call of the loon is so wonderfully eerie---and now there will be more of those calls at Grants Cove!

Hope that they got off on good behavior. :)
