From what I hear about the crowds now, I can hardly imagine the difference and indeed am glad. Thanks baugh

Aren't we all glad that we went years ago before all the crowds of today?

dendro

When I was there in the 70's, Robin, I went through the main part of the park, to the waterfall, ect and did the drive around to the overlook over all the mountains. It was about this time of the year and beautiful.

I was there in the 70's, Julie. It wasn't very crowded then either. No problem camping, lots of spaces, and not a lot of people. It was mid-70's. Thanks

I'm glad to get you this close, HCRA. Thanks for the comment.☺☺

redina1

We were there in the 80's and had a great time. So pretty.

dendro

Thank you Ellen, I thought the little red tree was a sweet transition of color, also.

dendro

Thank you tekchal2. I was just on the West Coast and while there, visited Sequoia National Park and Joshua Tree National Park--both beautiful.

Mariposamia

Great picture/puzzle. I visited there in the 60s, when it was still a quiet place to visit. Not too many people to enjoy the solitude.

WISH I COULD SEE THIS FOR REAL. GORGEOUS.

PutterDutt

SO beautiful! Fall is my favorite time of the year. That orange/red tree in front is perfect. Thank you, dendro!

tekchal2

Beautiful.
