1949 Ford F1
Why are you reporting this puzzle?
Scott Birdsall's '49 has a 5.9-liter diesel engine borrowed from a Freightliner truck. It has been tweaked to 1,200 horsepower using a compound turbo setup made up of a regular turbocharger driven by exhaust gases that drives a bigger turbocharger, which then returns some of the boost to the first one totaling 106 psi boost.
