Also--I know you are still grieving. There is no good time to lose a parent. And losing both of them so close in time--I hope you take some comfort in knowing that they are together in the afterlife as they were here on earth. Thank you and them for their service! And, obviously, they both served--and valiantly. Your father served and survived a very difficult war--and your mother "served" as well. They are a true testament to love and devotion. Your tribute to them is heartwarming--my heartfelt sympathies to you and your family for your loss. (I was a teen during the Viet-Nam war--most of us weren't fully aware of what was happening--it was a 5 minute news update on the only "news" that was available at the time.
