The sugar maples are just spectacular this year. This is viewed from my back deck across a small pond and is one of four around edge of the pond. It is about 25 to 30 years old. I took this picture Sunday

Great burst of color! Thank you

Oh yes, I still have 150 daffodil bulbs to get in the ground. Plus I'm expecting a delivery of 100 tulips, 100 croci, 100 grape hyacinths, and 25 mixed hyacinths. That last batch (along with a bunch of mixed daffodils) are going into planter boxes in layers to sit out the winter. That should go quickly—or else I'm screwed.

I was thrilled to see that starting Thursday, the temperatures will be in the 60ºs for seven days.

Thanks Gayle. With all the recent freezes and storms with winds in the last week all the nice leaves are gone. Only the Bradford pears (dark purple) and oaks (yuk brown) are left. We have indian summer the rest of the week so time to clean up gardens or else.

This tree is gorgeous, Tim! Since most of the leaves are gone around here, it was fun to solve your beautiful sugar maple today. Thanks!

It's nice that you caught it when you did.

Thanks Bill. Rain and storms the next several days so I expect it will all be gone by the end of the week.

That tree is stunning, Tim. Thanks!

Thanks Pat. Glad you liked it.

That's a beauty, Tim.

Glad you liked it cry0114. Thanks for commenting.
I like these trees when there is still a little green for contrast Libi but things have been spectacular everywhere in this area this year. Take care.

I love autumn for these colors. I'm glad you took this photo, TIm. because the sugar maples don't grow in our country. Although in autumn all maples are beautiful. :-)

WOW!! Beautiful tree. Thank you.
