Why are you reporting this puzzle?

In the Outback area of the zoo, there's a small forest of eucalyptus trees so that each koala can have its own tree (which is how the males want it).

I kept feeling an irrational urge to ask them if they had family in Australia.... Right now, they're safer in San Diego.

The San Diego Zoo has had a good and successful koala breeding program--and has sent a team to Australia to help with rescue efforts there.

I'm sorry you didn't get to see them--though it's sometimes good to have a reason to return to a place. They were cute, but most were very hard to spot.
