Coco Cherie is taking after Freya. She jumps on the bathroom sink and stares at me till I turn on the faucet. Great picture. Thanks Catslave.

Oh dear, canoekaw!! ☺☻☺

Thanks octomom, I'm just glad they've finally decided on something!

octomom

I'm so sorry to learn of your RA diagnosis, Catslave. I've got severe fibromyalgia, as well as a host of other physical problems with my legs, butt and feet, and my recent spinal surgeries did nothing to help, so I know what you're going through. My dear friend and former vet in Oregon, Andy, was diagnosed several years ago with RA. She still runs her practice and manages to go camping and hiking when she's able (she's 59 years old). Her RA meds have worked very well for her. So I think there's reason for you to be hopeful. I wish you the best of luck and health.

To answer your question-It was the parents of an inquisitive and very active young girl who always doubted her parents. I recall her throwing her cat into the cement flower garden pond and saying, "See, cats can too swim." She grew up to be much, much more gentle and cat loving. Nice job Freya!

catslave

Thanks tisketsmum. I appreciate the words of wisdom from someone who has been through something similar. Not fun but it is what it is. ♥

LOL donnebrook!

catslave that's really tough. I hope things improve for you very soon. Coming to terms with "irreversible" isn't easy but you have to think positively about what you can do and enjoy, and not dwell on what you can't. Sorry, sounds like a lecture but have "been there, done that" with the damage done to my sciatic nerve on one side. My hopes and wishes are with you.
Love tisketsmum ♥

"Different" is a tactful way of putting it, Tisketsmum!! ☺☻☺

Health issues... I have finally been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis (a change from "you're overweight"). My physio thought so way back in March but I had to wait for the rest of the medical profession to catch up... Hopefully now I can get the right medication to help. Unfortunately, the damage to my knees is irreversible so I'll be on crutches for a while yet. My hands still hurt so no solving puzzles just yet...though the temptation is strong!!

tisketsmum

Hi Freya, good to see you on Jigidi again, but sorry to read (on a Milly puzzle) that your mum is still having health issues.
Tisket would never voluntarily get wet, but I guess that like people, you're all different ☺☺☺

I will Pammi! He's become a lot less elusive and a lot more bossy since I was off work for so long. He's 'claimed' a set of pillows as his own on my bed and demands fussing when I'm there. Such a big softy. ♥

Hi octomom! It's good to know that Freya isn't the only one! I just realised that this looks like I put the tap on once she was in the sink but I didn't! She usually sits next to the sink and stares, giving me the occasional vocal encouragement to switch the tap on. Once it's on, in she goes!! Mad cats...they ALL are! ☺♥☺

octomom

It's nice to see you back, catslave.
I've had several cats that loved to be in my sink. Norton was one. He'd manage to get to my kitchen sink and wait for me to turn the water on so he could drink. He'd also get into my bathroom sink and wait for me. He'd never cry, he'd just sit patiently and wait for me to find him. He was a shorthair, so no fur issues if he got wet. This is a lovely photo. Thanks for posting it.

Pammi

Miss Freya, wonderful to see your gorgeous little face again. Enjoy your shower beautiful girl. ♥

P.S. Please give my love to Tyr and I look forward to sighting him some time in the future ('cos I know how elusive he can be). ☺

catslave

Freya has taken having the tap on in the morning to new extremes!!

Goofie is another water kitty, isn't he?! ;-)

Jimmy, the water is just perfect (though sometimes it goes up my nose when I'm trying to drink it!).

Hi Milly! No shampoo, that would too much like a human! It's good to be back!

Snooker, I really do wonder about her sometimes...

Well, Freya, sometimes I think your bulb is a little dim but then again you are so pretty you can get away with it. :) Bandit wouldn't be caught dead under a tap. LOL

soo

You are very brave Freya, you wouldn't find me sitting under a running tap! Do you use shampoo? Love Milly ♥ P.S. It's good to see you back on jigidi, I've missed you and so has my mum ♥♥

maegi

Hi sweet Freya - hope the water isn't too cold?

Impie

LOL...I didn't catslave. Goofie likes his rain showers!☺♥☺
