Once in awhile, we see a few in our neighborhood. They are a delightful to see.

There are many of them in this general area. On the school playground we have seen as many as 8 in a group.

Lucky you! It would be a real treat to see sandhill cranes almost every day.
And lucky sandhill cranes - getting to enjoy the cracked corn you put out. :-))

Hi Pam. I have a pair in my front yard almost every day. They eat the cracked corn that I put out, and I have fresh water nearby also. I have posted puzzles of them before.

Had this bookmarked, Sue, and just solved it. Thank you, a lovely solve. I generally like puzzles that feature wildlife. :-))

It is a beauty. I have a coffee table book about them and that photo is in it.
