These tiles are made from 100% recycled rubber.

It is a floating floor system in that it has clips on the back, so the tiles lock into each other.

Hi Carrie, Well, it's all happening for you at the moment. I shall be thinking of you tomorrow with your move under way. I wish you all the best in your new surroundings and I have no doubt that following your hip surgery you will be a new woman. My sister had a hip replacement in her seventies and it was brilliant for her. All best wishes for your move and I am sending good vibes your way. ♥♥♥♥

Impie

Good news, Carrie! I hope that the new hip releases you from your pain. A friend of mine had it done a few years ago and he's feeling and walking so much better.
Good luck with the house moving on Tuesday and very very good luck with the hip replacement on Feb. 20 th.
I'll all be thinking of you ♡♡

Thanks so much. And more news! I saw an orthopedist who tells me that my new pain is from a bad hip! He says if I have a hip replacement, I will feel far better. Soooo, on Feb. 20th, it will be done!

Yes Val. I signed up with the less expensive one in Woodland Hills, CA. and will move the the last week of the month. Thanks for the good wishes.

Hello Carrie is it Wednesday there today if so good wishes for making the right choice for yourself thinking of you ♥☺♥

cbmuller

Thanks so much Val. I will be thinking of you when I sign my name on the dotted line.♥♥♥

valt46

Carrie I hope you get to read this, I felt I should talk to you on your puzzle, that is a huge difference in the prices for your two choices, but I am sure you will know which will be the right one for you. Good luck on Wednesday, as you say it is all your own decision making and know that we will all be with you in spirit wishing you all the best ♥♥

Carrie that is a big change from a big home to so much smaller. My friend and her husband had to retire to a small village way down South to get a retirement village with 2 bedrooms and hospital care if needed in a price bracket they could afford ( also they did not like some of the villages here in Dunedin) so now they are 3 hours drive away) and neither of them drive now. So telephone friends now. I hope you find something that suits you soon♥♥

cbmuller

Thanks so much Val. I am slowly packing although still no definite place to go and I am looking at places regularly. The problem is that the cost is exorbitant and the bedrooms are tiny. Going from a 2200 sq. ft. home to a room smaller then my den, is just not easy to do. So, I continue to look and hope to decide on something very very soon.

Hello Carrie just found your puzzle, clever pathway love that idea. I just read that you have to move so hope you find a wonderful new home that will be just right for your needs. You will be so busy, but hope you have time to still visit your new friends Bella, Jim and I. It has been lovely getting to know you, take care will be thinking of you ♥♥

Bella2015

I hope you will find 'the best' one. This one has good reviews :
http://www.lajh.org/
And I hope that there is someone to help you with moving. Sweet licks. ♥♥♥

cbmuller

Thanks for your concern Bella. As you know, most private houses are not good places for wheelchairs, so I will have to settle for a facility built especially for people who need extra help. I hope to find a good one. I check reviews and do lots of investigative work before I talk to them or consider seeing the place. And, I will have to plan making the move. Lots of work ahead.

Bella2015

Aw aunt Carrie, that's a problem indeed. I hope you will find a good house where you can be free to live the way you like and get all the help you need. I wish I could be your help-dog. Sweet licks ♥♥♥

PS hugs from mum. ♥♥♥

cbmuller

Of course I will continue on jigidi no matter where I move. I have to have internet access so that I can continue to do the work I enjoy. I consider my jigidi friends my best friends! Thanks so much for your kind words Pammi!♥

Pammi

Carrie, I can understand that this must be a difficult decision to have to make but it is no good if your current home is not suitable for your needs. I do hope you have no trouble finding the accommodation that suits you in all respects. Do please let us all know how you get on and of course when you finally do move please stay in touch with all your Jigidi friends. ♥♥♥♥

cbmuller

It's because I can't walk much anymore and need to use a wheelchair. But my house is not wheelchair accessible, so I will have to move to an Assisted Living Facility. I will visit the first one on my list next week.

Bella2015

Waf waf aunties, I know what it is. I saw mum and dad working. So take care and don't work too hard. Aunt Carrie, is it because of your health or is the house too big? Sweet licks ♥♥♥

cbmuller

Good to hear from you Pammi! I think I too will be changing residences in 2018! I can understand just how busy you have been. So, please, take some time to rest and relax in the New Year. I am so grateful to have met you!

Pammi

Hi Carrie. Just stopping by to wish all the best for the New Year and I do hope you had a lovely Christmas (sorry I'm a bit late!). We have just moved house and December has been and almost gone in a haze. It's now 8.20pm New Years Eve so in just over 3 hours and 40 minutes, it will be 2018. I hope only good things come your way in 2018. Pam x x

Thanks, Carrie for you recent visit to my site.
This walkway should be great for many years.
Enjoy.

Linda, I had a friend take the picture and post the puzzle for me since I wanted to show off those recycled tiles. I like the idea of a walkway to the porch being inviting and pretty as well.

linda1802

Congratulations on posting your first puzzle, Carrie. It was fun to do. Many thanks.
Your garden looks very well established and is undoubtedly a real delight to the eye.
Using waste rubber to make interlocking tiles is a great idea, an excellent way of recycling old tyres, and I'm sure these tiles are agreeable to walk on. I hadn't heard of this idea before and hope it catches on. There is so much we could do to reduce waste - as we know "where there's a will there's a way."
Keep posting! ♥☺♥

cbmuller

Thank you for coming to visit me Ank and Bella. It's always fun to improve the outside of our homes.

puzzeljac

Hi Carrie, that tiles look great. I think it feels wonderful to walk on it. It must be easy to make a walkway with such a clip system. And the best part is that it looks beautiful. ☺ I'm sure Bella would love to visit you and that she wants to play with all those cats. ☺ Pity it's too far away.
I think you have a wonderful garden. ♥

Bella2015

Waf waf woof aunt Carrie, this looks great. Now first I tell mum to look at it, then she can solve the puzzle and turn the photo. Then I will have a better view. Sweet licks. ♥♥♥

soo

Wow your garden sounds lovely Carrie, never mind the cats visiting I think we humans should come and visit ♥

cbmuller

Soo, that's the front walkway to the front porch. The porch is a long one, that goes all across the lot. There are plants along the porch and then grass all the way to the sidewalk.

There is a small garden to the front left of the walkway, with a stained glass window in the rear of the garden, which is in my living room.

I have a patio outside of my dining room, with more plants around it and some jasmine that climbs up and over a part of it.

And yes, there are lots of places for kitties to hide and I think they would enjoy resting on the porch during the heat of the day and resting on that parkway once the sun goes down. I'd love the kitties of Jigidi to visit!

Pammi

Carrie, what a great system this is and I really like the pattern you have chosen. It's very similar to the pattern we used for the pavers we had put down in our house in Perth. Obviously yours would be more gentle underfoot than clay pavers are. Job well done. ☺☺☺

soo

Oh wow Auntie Carrie we just love your garden. We can see lots of places to play and hide in and then when we get tired we can curl up and sleep on your lovely new tiles. Love Milly & Willow xx

cbmuller

Thanks Impie. I'm glad you like it. I'm thrilled with it.

Impie

Hi Carrie, Even watching sideways I get the man who layed your tiles did a wonderful job ♡
I'm on my tablet right now but I'll solve your puzzle later on my desktop.

I guess your helper took the picture with the camera turned to get a 'length' view. I do that often too but when I then create a puzzle of the original image I'll get it sideways too.
I file my photos in AC/DC and before I create a 'length' photo I edit it first by rotating the picture until it's a length photo again and save it. This way I can create the puzzle like it should.
You could try my tip a next time and in the meantine don't worry about it....I got the 'picture'...your walkway looks wonderful and neat. Enjoy! ☺

At first glance I thought this might be your section of "the wall!"
