Kaleidos made from ...... Silk Hand Fans!! ~ Small

I made these kaleidoscopes from freely available images of silk hand fans. I use a variety of programs to make my kaleidoscopes, recolour the backgrounds and assemble them into a collage. Each collage takes around 2 hours to make.

It gives me immense pleasure making them, and I hope it gives you pleasure solving them. :-)

Thanks leet! You must be a member of the PFC too! It's a mighty big club!! :)))

Beautiful purple!

Oooh, you're right! It DOES look like Chester Cheetah. And I think he's made off with Dame Edna Everage's glasses! Now there's something for you to look up too! LOL

Oops! I made a mistake and it took awhile before I realized it. I said the Cheetos tiger, actually it's a cheetah, Chester Cheetah to be exact. I just needed to clear that up. And please do look him up; I think you'll see what I mean. :)))

That's what it's all about LJ!! I'd say that ticks all the boxes. :)))

Very pretty and fun to solve, Kirsten!

Thanks Deborah!! I don't know the Cheetos tiger - I don't think he has made it to Australia. I'll have to look him up. Although, maybe I won't recognise him if he's incognito here! LOL

Thanks PJ!! Isn't it AMAZING, what the kaleido maker can do? Turn silk fans into gems!! :)))

They're all gorgeous, but I'm sure it comes as no surprise to you that the top left is my favorite! Around the outer edges it looks like the Cheetos tiger with his big sunglasses, only he's camouflaged in pink and white! :)))

Kirsten - what a lovely collection, beautiful gems.

Thanks Rosie!! And I just realised that you left your comment before solving!! You're a brave woman stating your fave so early. LOL I always find that what I think I'll love most going in, isn't necessarily what I love most once I see it solved. Although, come to think of it, it IS probably a little easier in a 2x2, as the individual kaleidos are larger. Anyway, blah, blah, blah. I'll shut up now, and close with saying that I hope you are well, and I hope that you enjoy the puzzle. :)))

These are unbelievably beautiful. Ethereal, transparent, gentle. I'm having trouble picking one. Am fluctuating between top left(red) and bottom left(lilac), but the blue and yellow are also beautiful. I think the lilac has to be me fave. Thanks for these. I'm going to do the puzzle now so I can sit and enjoy them all larger. Thanks again, Rosie.

Tee hee! :-DD

It's fun, isn't it Barb!! It's what I miss when I post and run. It's just not the same. And I'll need to start a new Accessories division here are RandomWorship Enterprises I think. Never fear, I'll send the order to them just as soon as I have them set up. LOL

I think you're perfectly coherent Edie! What you said made perfect sense. But then again, I am drunk.

Just kidding! LOL And I'm glad you enjoyed it. :)))

I've never been happier to hear that someone is having a boring time, Gail. There's been just a little too much excitement in your life of late. Roll on boredom!! LOL

I think I like reading the comments almost as much as solving your delightful puzzles, Kirsten.
No need for a fan just at the moment but come summer I'll be ordering that top right blue one. Please keep one in stock for me. :-))

Love these Kirsten. Especially the bottom left. It's almost transparent. Like the background colour is coming right through. I literally woke up two minutes ago and can't seem to put two words together coherently. Going to give the small one a go. Thanks so much.

Thanks, Kirsten. I plan on having that boring weekend I so long for, and just relaxing and trying to feel better. I'm glad to know there's an end in sight, even if it is a couple or few weeks away.

Hmmm. How do you type gobsmacked silence, Hester? Would it be this? (.......................................)

Or maybe this will do - it's the expression on my face - 0.0

But I'm very glad you enjoyed it. :)))

Thanks Gail!! I'm waving - can you see me? LOL And I hope my week-end brings me that too. If I can have a nice run at Jigidi tomorrow, I'll consider that box ticked!! Hope you have the same. :)))

I saw that Ardy! But then I had to go and catch up on the comments. I think I have about 20 puzzles with comments on them, since I was here last! Oh, to be a better typist. LOL I'm about half way there.

And you made us a story!! Yay. Thank you. :))) And thank you also for the brrrhugs. I said to you in another reply that they may have been responsible for a cool change in our weather. But I'll take as much cool as I can get!! I'm sure I would be hot even outside in your snow!! Warm hugs to you. ((HUGS))

Well, I can't say it any better than Ardy! And Gail is so right about the red one. I think it has to be my number 1 of this set. And , don't be shocked, but I don't see anything remotely resembling food in these! LOL Lovely puzzle, thanks Kirsten. :-))

Wow, the depth of these are magnificent, especially the top left one. I can almost see all the way to Oz! I hope your upcoming weekend brings you much joy and fun, Kirsten.

Ha, I'm on top., definitely a rare sight even with only two on the board. Teddy bears are siting around the inner circle in the top left. Geisha girls with dark blue hats and lighter blue kimonos between the petals of the flower in the top right. Little owls around the center of the bottom right. I didn't find anything but a lovely design in the bottom left. I'll be back later for the big one.

I know it's a bit early but I do wish a very good night for you with the nicest of dreams. Sending loving hugs with a chilled one - just in case it's needed. ((HUGS)) ((BRRHUG))
