This photo from the Wiki page is incorrect. The Alaunia had 2 funnels
I must check my reference books rather than Google

No it's a Royal Mail Liner as a troopship in 1915 in Alexandria. The photo may have been taken from the Alaunia, as it was in a book written by the Chaplain to the troops - whoever put it on Wikipedia did it in error.

I think, but am not certain, that this is a picture of the later Alaunia built after WW1 as an intermediate ship for the Canadian service . The "forward bridge" looks rather typical of the Cunard designs of the period ( although the plain coloured funnel is odd )
