I enjoy quilts. Similar to what I do... using fabric instead of paper. My sister has quilted for years and I love to hear about the creative process involved in works of art.

Thank you Opossum for visiting my page.
I love to quilt. I just don't post anything anymore.

Mila71, thank you very much.

TFS, I love this and the craftsmanship that went into it; I have a friend who collects lighthouses.

Bookish, I have seen pictures, but not in person. Sounds wonderful.

Shepley, thank you. I still have so many unfinished quilts which need to be moved forward this year. I really enjoy the process.

delanee, your quilts are beautiful. My cousin built an 1,800 sqft studio in her back yard - to teach quilting. She has two "Long Arm" quiliting machines - plus several other machines. She too has produced some gorgeous pieces of art! Shep

This is gorgeous. I don't quilt but that doesn't stop me from admiring them.
Have you ever heard of 'Quilt of Belonging'? This was a project initiated by a Williamstown, Ontario woman.

'A richly hued portrait of the human family, Quilt of Belonging is a 120 foot (36 metres) long collaborative textile art project. Its 263 blocks portray the rich cultural legacies of all the First Peoples in Canada and every nation of the world at the dawn of the new Millennium.'

If you're curious, here's a link to some of the images:

I've been lucky to see it twice.
