This looks just awesome to me ( not, that I would like to see it close in nature :O) )

@Donnajames -- Oh NO, I never heard the phone ring at all! So sorry, girlfriend. I spent another 18 hours sleeping today. I have to come out of this intermittent coma! It will be so fun when we finally do connect.

I spent well over a decade with terrible, mind-destroying insomnia, and I don't know why I'm sleeping so much now. Bruce just got his jab yesterday, and says he feels exhausted and sleep-needing. If you have the time and luxury, it's not at all bad as a side effect.

AZ is not available in the states. It has been deemed "unworthy".

If you got Pfizer, stay with that.

Prepared in any way is good.

@Mischka - HA! I called you again today. Left another message. I am so glad you are feeling better. AND you have actually been sleeping!!!!!! If nothing else, it has given you much needed sleep! If you feel like calling back great...but not necessary now. *lol* dj

First jab of Astra Zeneca I was rough for a day and tired a few more days. Second jab only mild symptoms for about a day.

Conceivably worth finding out of the AZ is available. Mix and match is probably better protection as well (although not many studies on that for obvious reasons)... my booster jab will be Pfizer in the autumn/winter...

I hadn't looked at the puzzle picture in a while, and it really IS startling and creepy.

Thanks for asking! I got the Pfizer shot at CVS, and was told to come back in 2 weeks. Then I learned they had run out of Pfizer, and since 2 weeks seemed contrary to everything I'd heard, I called around. It's supposed to be 3 or 4 weeks, right? So I'll be going to a family-run agency where I can just walk in, on the 16th.

I plan to bring them a box of assorted chocolates, since (if the 2nd one is such a doozy) I want my last act to be one I'm remembered for, lol.

Is that what you meant by preparation, Hoff? Heehee.

ps I don’t log out either 🤷‍♀️

Good to hear you’re feeling better :)

YAY Mischka!!!

First jab is usually not so bad, second is more noticable. Pfizer is the least intrusive, Moderna is a bit worse, best prepare for second, and please let us know when that is happening, so we can all coe down and cheer you on.

You are going to have an awful time on the open puzzle you know.

Whew! welcome back! Which vax did you have??

Hi, everyone! I'm back!

I didn't mean to scare you, though it's true I've been sick and in bed for the past several days. If that's what the first vaccine does, I'm nervous about the second... But I didn't really feel awful, I was just sleeping really deeply, and got up for only a couple of hours a day.

I should have written. I don't usually log off Jigidi; does everyone else? That's why it said I was here. Or was it because I left an unsolved puzzle open? I certainly was here, in spirit.

I missed all of you, my friends, and this is the first time I actually have some energy again in a long time. So, of course, it's almost 2 a.m. and I have to go make myself go back to bed.

Donna, you called? I think the phone has been ringing a lot, but most of the time it didn't wake me. Call me any time - next time, I promise I'll answer!! :-D

Will do.

Ok, please keep me posted.

Still nothing...I'll try calling again tomorrow...........

:::tired of pacing, back to sitting on pins:::

Called - left message - waiting for a call back.....

:::tired of sitting on pins, I transfer to standing for a bit and pacing nervously:::

wow! it looks like a man with sharp teeth! cool but scary!

:::Pawing the ground in anticipation:::

:::wating on pins and needles:::

Will do! Might give her a call.

I do not know what is happening. It seems she checks in daily, but does not publish or comment. Anybody with her email could try to email her and check on her well being.

She does live in South Miami.
She's a (very capable) nurse, as Hoff can verify.
So it wouldn't be surprising if she's working double shifts, 7 days a week, in an ICU.

Hey, I looked and her profile says she was on Jigidi today!

Me too!

:::getting scared:::

:::litening to the echos dying away, followed by an eerie silence:::

:::listening as echoes rebound off the walls of the puzzle:::

Creepy! Devil incarnate, gives me the shivers!

I do not know.

:::Brow furrowed with concern:::

Who is @Mischka ? what is she,
That all our swains commend her?
Holy, fair, and wise is she;
The heaven such grace did lend her,
That she might admirèd be.

Where is @Mischka 🤔

Very cool! :-)

This is creepy! I actually like it. :-)) dj

diabolically cool...
