Why are you reporting this puzzle?

In Germany, during Christmas season, all sorts of nativity scenes - huge ones and tiny ones - can be seen in houses or gardens and also in public places. This very special one I saw in a front yard of a charming old house.

TY for sharing this little gem, Céline. It's really special and probably represents the actual event more closely than most other nativity scenes do.

@PLG1958 Glad you like it! Thanks for your interest!

Oh, this is so precious! Thanks for sharing it!

I just knew 'nativity' - and I'm always happy to learn something new. So thanks again!

It depends on who's speaking Céline, we use, manger, nativity, Stable, and crèche which is a French word used by some here. It has gained popularity in use .

Oh, great - thanks for teaching me the right word for this, Jim! I'm happy you like it. I was impressed and delighted to see the very unusual cut of the faces and the clothing. I do have a very old, hand carved crèche, too. Maybe I can take a picture of it one of these days. How about yours? I'd love to see it! Have a wonderful day and stay safe, my friend!

Very nice crèche, looks to be hand carved. I have a small one we keep under the tree. Thanks for sharing with us Céline. Blessings my friend
