@ljcowles. In case you hadn’t guessed by the name, these are found along Chesapeake bay. I have some that are part of a plate that might be 2” thick, most likely from a tidal wave action bed. They are so common that I’ve found them in the local parks on picnic tables being used as ashtrays. Megaladon teeth? That’s another story. I’ve never collected in Oregon even though I’ve hit the beach there a couple of times.
