Small world. I grew up Prospect Ave & Greenwood, Prospect Park was our playground and my family still lives there. And now my kids live in Portland, OR. Loved these newstands. They were so convenient. Thanks for the memories.
It's amazing how much stuff can be crammed into such a tiny space. We don't have anything approaching this here in Oregon. I grew up in NYC and lived in two Brooklyn apartments in the 70s, one on Woodruff Avenue across from Prospect Park and the other on Gravesend Neck Road, almost beyond the point of any civilization.
