Rosee, I cut my hubby’s hair as well as my daughters. My hair is longer in the back and just wanted to even it out. He knows I am leery to get it cut straight. Neither he nor my daughter can cut a straight line. I have begged them to trim an inch off the back, but they refuse to do it. Yes, the heat and humidity, rainy weather and the general lousy feeling of another day of the same old stuck in does not help.

TTwistedRosee

You are not alone. I have given serious thought of getting some clippers, and bon voyage hair. But I know I will regret it. I also think I feel like this because of the constant heat, and just overall being in the blahs. 2020 has not been kind at all. But don't cut your hair. Forgive me, I did laugh thinking about the look on your husband's face.

Rosee, I don't go anywhere, so I don't care how I look most days. Right now I have my hair in a ponytail with strands hanging down that won't go in. I almost cut my hair yesterday. Hubby came in and I had the scissors in my hand and about to cut, when he looked at me and gave me a scrunched up face look. I just wanted to cut some in the back. But I gave in and did not cut. It actually feels better in a ponytail. At least for now.

OAA, I thought about you while wrestling with my hair, and I don't think I did a true french braid. I part my hair down the middle, then I take one section divide it in a few sections and twist my hair, then I take the hair I just twisted and braid it. I repeat on the other side. Usually about 6 to 8 twists per braid. So no I can't really french braid. I'm just trying not to look too crazy.

TTwistedRosee

I agree Mariolyn.

This is a marvelous FENCE and big house.

Munchie could have jumped on your shoulder and patted at it and pulled your hair all out. No, she left it looking good.

TTwistedRosee

It took me FOREVER, and they still don't look good. It is a sad looking job. Sad I tell you lol. Munchie came with me into the bathroom, sat on the toilet seat, with her head cocked to the side....When I was done after literally 20 tries, she looked at my hair, and walked out the bathroom. I felt so judged.......

I'm wearing my hair in 2 french braids, that look really bad. I really wish I had learned to style my hair years ago. There are 180,000 people dead from the virus. I'm not going to complain too much about my hair.

Lynetteoz

I am hopeless with hair and mine is a new surprise every day. I am so not looking forward to summer :-(

TTwistedRosee

Hey there Lynetteoz, I'm just trying to deal with the heat. Well that and stay away from the news for a little while. I've been trying out new hairdo's. I am NOT good styling my hair.

Lynetteoz

Looks like New England living is very pretty and opulent. Lovely house and picket fence Rosee. Hope all is well with you :-)
