This most beautiful pass in central Idaho going North towards Lewiston lowers you down to the Columbia River basin. I don't often see rainbows of this shape, not really a bow at all. We did get to drive through the storm that produced it, and some nice, fresh air though. Taken in late September, 2021

So beautiful! I thought the rainbow effect is may be a parhelion, aka 'sun dog', but I'm not sure. It might be just a part of a rainbow that's too small for us to see it as an arc. Anyway, what a wonderful photo!
