I did this yesterday but had to dash out before I could comment. You may not know this, but U.P. Engine 949 is still an active engine as part of Union Pacific's Heritage Fleet. 949 was built in 1955 to pull the famous streamline and domeliner passenger trains. UP retired it in 1972 and it was sold and resold several times before UP re-acquired it in 1992 and had it totally rehabbed and put back in use. P.S. I enjoyed Mann's train watercolors. I bought a couple of his prints a few years ago for my train obsessed nephew.
