Spring is on its way - he's looking forward to warm weather and sunshine ... just like those of us who live in the north.
Very nice Gene - my fave artist from your posts!! Love his pipe-holder too!!
Great pic :)
Nice one Gnt. Don't listen to PG Gnt. Even if you had been there, he would still be whining about something! LOL
Great painting.. but Gene, this painting looks like one of Jerry Crandall's. Because I have noticed that Crandall tends to highlight the silhouettes and puts a sort of lighter aura around the figures. Whereas Rodriguez emphasizes on the faces and the hands. But both are such great painters It is difficult to differentiate!
Thank you for introducing me to A. Rodriguez, looked in into his gallery and wow what an outstanding artist!Great set Gene!
Gnt -I thought the same a's Aggie. I saw those colors and immediately thought of my Hudson bay blanket!we missed you, but you were with us in spirit.
Another gorgeous one ... Thanks Gene
thank U Sirenita, Jim, Sandy, Richard....If You only knew how bad I wanted to be there with all of U...But am thanking u all anyway :))))
got his dime stash in his hat. Nice one gnt still wish you could have made it to the gardens at least then I had a chance with all these ladies.
To me, this doesn't look like a Rodriguez painting for some reason. The lighting does, but the detail doesn't. It is still a lovely painting in my eyes though. Thanks Gene.
Dreamed of being a mountain man growing up in South Dakota. Went on Internet and looked up pictures by Alfredo. OMG, he is so incredible. He's to Indians and the West what Wyland is to Whales and the Sea.
I love this one, and he really looks happy, great picture! thanks
Thank U lauraj, patsyanne for the comments
