South Dakota can also induce amnesia. Good thing you got out when you did. I have even heard rumor that some presidents, while visiting were turned to stone by the state itself.

jals

ha ha Watchman. I lived those 8 years in South Dakota then we moved. I credit my gaps to the move.

Watchman

@jals Sound like a brain freeze, you get that from living in the Dakotas and in Nebraska. That happens every year during the winter months, when the north wind howls and the snow flies. ;-))

jals

lol - taco and dorito.

From birth to 8, are kind of a blank for me.

msbonne

Taco and Dorito did just fine.

Max_Tooney

This is why you should never hire someone else to write your autobiography. Jaco and Doroteia made the same mistake.

msbonne

Hmmm. I am fairly certain we can come up with something. At what age do you not remember? We can start there and work backwards.

jals

I know most of it, Sloth, though I'm a little fuzzy on the early years.

msbonne

If you do not know your life story jals, I am sure we can help you out with it.

I really thought his name was Taco.

jals

Max,
you're starting to creep me out. I'm afraid to leave my house now for fear I'll end up on Jigidi, called a blob, and reading my life story.

Max_Tooney

Now you see why he shortened his name to Jaco.

Watchman

Pedro Fido Leonardo Eduardo was his name-o. ;-))

Isaly

Y'all are too much! Love it.....

msbonne

Those dog viruses are very difficult to get rid of.

Max_Tooney

Probably got them from my former dog, an English cockle spaniel.

msbonne

I was not aware you had cockles. I think you can get them removed these days.

Max_Tooney

I'm glad my Google search made it possible for me to identify these two. It warms the cockles of my heart.

msbonne

We cannot call him Doritos. Unless perhaps he has a chip on his shoulder.

Max_Tooney

He needs a Portuguese name: Jaco.

Jaco means "following after" in Portuguese lore, though strictly speaking: the blob in the bikini (Doroteia) is "following after" Jaco.

P.S.--Doroteia is Portuguese for God's gift. Her boyfriend confirms that Doroteia indeed believes she is God's gift to mankind.

Watchman

So we shall call him Sandy (George) and I will hug him and pet him and squeeze him and rub him and caress him and… I will stroke his bill and rub his pretty feathers… (Hugo the Abominable Snowman) LOL.. ;-))

msbonne

Does he also speak Cat? I have heard that language is nearly impossible to learn, and even harder to translate.

Max_Tooney

Listen up, never underestimate the brilliance of a shelter dog. This particular Heinz 57™ non-blob dog speaks and understands Portuguese, so he's much brighter than four-legged Max.

Two-legged Max, too.

msbonne

Never trust a guy with a little worm. It is really just a fluke that they caught this picture.

Watchman

It is just anglers’ fishy tail of a story, you know like the one that got away. It really was not his fault; he just had a little worm. LOL.. ;-))

msbonne

That was pretty finny.

Watchman

The non-blob dog is actually a Dogfish, he had to come out of the water to see the skinny blob in the bikini, he is such a shark. LOL... ;-))

Watchman

That is just the lamp fixture the light blub is sold separately. ;-)

Max_Tooney

I wonder how she ended up with a non-blob dog. Shelter animal?

Max_Tooney

Does that come with a sunlight (5900 K) lamp?

msbonne

I recognize this blob. She used to always walk on the beach with her dog.

Watchman

I used a heat lamp like this one. Also worked when I was raising baby chicks. LOL ;-))

Isaly

Thanks for the tip Watchman. I usually just put a lot of lights on.

Watchman

Need to get yourself a heat lamp and sit under it for 20 minutes a day. I use to do that when I lived in Nebraska during the late fall, winter and early spring months. It sure does help getting that extra boost of light. ;-)

Isaly

I need sunshine too Max. After three days without sun I am a real *****. Most of the time we don't have too many cloudy days here thank goodness. Time will tell what the winter will be.

Max_Tooney

Isaly, we're supposed to have a warmer, drier winter this year--based on the ninety day forecast. I'll believe it when I see it.

I have a psychological need for sunshine. And poor you--you're in one of the cloudiest areas east of the Rockies!

Max_Tooney

I should solve it to see, Watchman. She (or the dog?) evidently scared off the GoogleEarthmobile driver.

Isaly

We are having a cool rainy day here with lots more rain coming later today and tomorrow with possible flooding in the flooding areas, which I don't have to worry about. Believe we are going to have a bad winter this year Max. Not looking forward to that at all.

I am amazed at what all you can see and find on "Google Earth". Just keep going with what you're doing. I don't think you should have any worries.

Watchman

That is one skinny blob in a pink/purple bikini. LOL ;-))

Max_Tooney

Agreed! It would be great, no? (Already missing hot, sunny weather? I am.)

I'm having fun doing all these 'GoogleEarth' images. Surprised I'm not suspended yet. (I'll be continuing my Blob themes until then.)

Isaly

Beautiful photo Max. Wish I was there.....

Max_Tooney

Maybe I should do a "Themes: Blobs" series?
