I agree with everyone else here at Jigidi, Barb. May our prayers be answered. I know many are checking each hoping to get a progress report. And I did say progress. Please don’t get discouraged and know that you have many friends pulling for ,you and missing you dearly. We send hugs, well-wishes, smiles, and hopes for a full recovery.

UPDATE FOR TIGRESS BARB

The sedation is being lessened. Barb is getting more breathing support. She is awake and understanding what is happening. Her communication will get better as she is more alert.

Jennie asked me to wish everyone a wonderful Christmas on Barb's behalf.

UPDATE ON BARB

She is still in ICU. She has contacted an infection that will take about ten days for the antibiotic to control. She is lightly sedated but should be better over the weekend. Keep the prayers and healing thoughts coming.

UPDATE ON TIGRESS BARB: She is still in ICU but is cleared for transfer to another hospital where they have a special unit to help her get off the ventilator. They are hoping a bed will open there some time this week. She reads messages left for her and appreciates the support she feels from all of us. Message received from Jennie Wednesday, Nov 29.

Barb, I have been away for some time and am just now seeing that you are not well. I am so very sorry! I read the posts below and am pleased that you are making progress even though it is slow. She is still in ICU (Intensive Care Unit).

UPDATE ON TIGRESS BARB
She was able to go 24 hours breathing on her own Saturday. Some of her tubes have been removed. They will probably move her out of ICU to a ward in a couple of days. She is walking and breathing better. She appreciates your messages which are passed on by Jennie.
