I think it has to do w/ how stupid they seem in the Fairy Tales I grew up with, like Snow Whit, Sleeping Beauty & Cinderella. I know as A kid I thought they were dumb, so I guess it just carried over 2 adult hood, not sorry. I'm fine w/those who love them. Give me bad jazz Dragons & Mermaids any day (some people don't like them, & that's okay too) Myhhrmaid 8 June 2020 @sillychick ... I am glad you like some of the characters, even if you don't like them all. I love horses... always wanted to learn to ride, never really did. I love the squirrel's sweetness and total sense of safety.... of being safe in the world. But I don't like the squirrels in my yard. Do you know why those fairies annoy you? Because they are 'cute'? I don't think in real life that they are cute. They may or may not be beautiful.... I think when we see them they are just giving us a physical image to see because we are so tied in to connecting physical form with BEING. I think they are rather powerful and serious about their work. But I do think they can play and make practice jokes. Frankly I do not know the difference between Nature Spirits and Faries,,,, but that's ok. I go with what I experience. My head has been so messed up these past 5 or 6 years that I haven't spent much time in conversation with them. Anyway.... just was wondering why they annoy you. sillychick 8 June 2020 Fairies annoy me in general. They may be cute butt they annoy the hell out of me, so I must be an Angel, LOL ;) You see @Myhhrmaid has something 4 every1 (I don't like horses either) I DO love the Tulips, the Seahorse, the Bunny, the Goldfish, the Bubbles & the Dragonflies :) The Squirrel hands down is my favorite. So as the saying goes, to each his own. I just adore & love your Art Myhhrmaid & the stories I could write...well 4 another day ;) Myhhrmaid 8 June 2020 What is is called, The Web of Life? BirdNana 7 June 2020 I know! It is hard for me to think about that. I thought the foxes were to blame for the disappearance of my rabbits, but the other day I saw the rabbits across the street so they are still around. And we still have the squirrels, they come out only during the day and the foxes only come during the night, so their path don't cross. And guilty to say that anyone is welcome to the mice, poor things I see no use for them. No problem of frogs here. I rather see the Owls or Hawks get the mice than the birds. Myhhrmaid 7 June 2020 Well, Mila, I don't like to have the fairies or dragons to be nasty... so I do like them all to get along. Though I have to admit I add a fox now and then that could be a bit hungry for squirrel or a cat that looks at a ouse with interest... But I do that to remember that all is not sugar and honey... ON the other hand... :))) Myhhrmaid 7 June 2020 Thank you davitai. I am Gald you like it. :) Gentle is so nice, so powerful in a gentle delivery . ❤️ Myhhrmaid 7 June 2020 Sillychick, it is a wondrous thing that we all see and interpret differently. I hadn[t thought of the squirrel as gridding from the annoying fairies. But that little thing could certainly hide if the fairies annoy him. :)) BirdNana 6 June 2020 There are both versions about fairies of naughty and nice, in my opinion they are naughty with those that deserve it. Almost needless to add that mischievous and annoying are not synonyms. In my perception and what I see in your art Lilac is that they are very nice fairies and I do not see them annoying anyone. What is your perception Lilac? davitai 5 June 2020 This is so nice and gentle picture! I like it very much! sillychick 5 June 2020 That Cute little Squirrel knows how to hide from those annoying fairies ;) Myhhrmaid 4 June 2020 :)) So interesting how we have such different responses. I love that pointed eared one! I think she's sassy and vivacious and perky and fun. Hmmmm... things I would like to be again!!! LOL!!! ❤️ BirdNana 4 June 2020 No surprise here, the fairies are my favorite! Though don't know what to think about the one in green... pointy ears I relate to elves and pixies. But apparently fairies are also depicted with them... hmm... Love the delicate feathers. ❤️ Myhhrmaid 4 June 2020 :)) MarinaNephele 4 June 2020 For those who love it together, yes. Myhhrmaid 4 June 2020 Thanks, MarinaNephele. I am glad you like it. I think that little squirrel is sweet... so does that make the heart a sweetheart? :)) MarinaNephele 4 June 2020 Wonderful art. I like its squirrel heart. Thanks. dhi 4 June 2020 ꧁(* ﻬ *)꧂ Myhhrmaid 4 June 2020 Thank you, Donna. I am feeling better. I have words again and I am able to draw every day. I'm even two days ahead of what I can post. Been pretty scary now and then this past week, but am doing well. Thank you for noticing. I think of my sisters as the only ones to track how I'm doing. :)) Myhhrmaid 4 June 2020 Thanks, Nicole. Yes, soft colors, but a flat picture-more or less flat. I don't like that its so flat.
