Me, too, roseheather, even though I now live in Florida. My heart is still in/for Michigan.
It isn't a gloomy day. It is a cloudy day but not gloomy. ; )I like cloudy days, and look how those towers stand out against the blue grey sky. I am a Michigander and love this bridge.
So did I, Lizajune. So did I. I was on my way to college, in Minnesota, and thought I'd spend the rest of my life on that bridge and never make it to school.Well, I did, eventually (smile!). Julie
The strong, simple lines of the Mackinac Bridge piers thrill my heart every time I see them. When we first drove over the bridge a year after it was built, I thought those five miles would go on forever.
