Mathilda is one of our five Irish Wolfhounds. She is an ardent hole digger. Here, she claims innocence from said digging. She has been working on a hole in the puppy yard, which I keep filling back in. We are locked in battle :)

You can talk about them all you want, why not lol.

redjenn227

Sorry! Can you tell I like talking about my dogs? LOL! They are indeed well loved and quite spoiled.

lea43th

Thanks for all that information. You must be very busy with all those pups to look after, but I’m sure they are well loved.

redjenn227

Also, it is impossible to be upset with that face!!

redjenn227

@lea43th, no puppy school near us. We started calling the fenced area for the dogs here the "puppy yard" when Olibhe (Olive) had her litter of puppies in 2019, and once they were old enough, were let out to play safely. She had 7 puppies. We kept two! Here is everyone's ages...Olibhe 6, Katie 5, Mathilda 4, and O's puppies, Silas and Pi are almost 3. We bred Mathilda, but sadly, she isn't pregnant. We'll try again next time. Mathilda is also known as "the Enforcer" as she lets everyone know if they are getting too rambunctious, however, she isn't the alpha on the pack, Olibhe is. No amount of training will stop Mathilda from digging. It's in her genes :)

I wrote the last comment before I did the puzzle Jen? A friend of mine has a 19 week old Dalmatian and she doesn’t listen very well either. It takes a while doesn’t it?

lea43th

How can you rouse at that cute face? So you have a puppy school near you, she might enjoy that lol.

SusySlais

I thought it was an easy recipe for a common problem with dogs! 😺

redjenn227

I grow parsley in my herb garden every year, mostly for the dogs! Great recipe!

redjenn227

Susy, I am on FB. If you are ever so inclined, you can find me as Jenn Fearghus Koop Antilla. It started out as a page for my dogs, written from their perspective ;) Thanks for the link!

SusySlais

Jenn, by the way . . . if you have a Facebook account, go to this page for the recipe for Parsley Breath-Bits for dogs: https://www.facebook.com/sweetpaulmagazine/posts/10160147003503033. If you don't, let me know and I'll copy the recipe for you here. 😺

SusySlais

Do tell! 😺

redjenn227

And there's a story behind her name.

redjenn227

Susy, of the 17 wolfhounds I've had over the years, she is THE cutest!! Part of it must be her personality.

SusySlais

Love the name Mathilda! And she is very cute! Nice photo, Jenn!!! 😺

Oh, that face! Innocence mixed with the hope that she's not in big trouble from getting caught lol. I want to give her a big squeeze. Very cute! Thanks, RJ! :-D

@jmhoyer57

Bluebonnet

She is awfully cute! I like the way her paws are spread out.

redjenn227

@Bluebonnet, She always looks like she just got out of bed! Even after I've JUST brushed and combed her coat! I think all of my wolfhounds have been beautiful, pretty, handsome...but Mathilda is THE CUTEST wolfhound we've ever had. I'm sure her personality has something to do with it.

Bluebonnet

What a fluffy girl! :-)

redjenn227

@jmhoyer57, thought you would enjoy this story, and photo. xx
