Good-bye to Prince Edward Island...south-central shore...looking at Charlottetown from Blockhouse Point Lighthouse

In June we travelled by rail from Vancouver (British Columbia) to Montreal (Quebec) where we spent five nights. We then took an overnight train to Moncton (New Brunswick). Next we drove to Prince Edward Island, Cape Breton (Nova Scotia), and flew home from Halifax.

Only those dressed as tourists in rented caravans...complete with microwaves and satellite dishes.

Maybe we'll come across some raggle-taggle gypsies , also, as well, too ..............

To start...okay...and don't forget your fiddle and dancing shoes...we're heading to ceilidh country...perhaps Mrs. B could show us a Highland Fling or two...or three...

Let's settle on three ..... to start with.

A hot toddy would help, too. Or two...

I'll be taking a hot water bottle.

We had our fleece-lined sweat tops on under our windproof jackets, socks and sneakers, and we were still cold. There was a young teen there in short jean shorts and sandals...and just a sweater. I don't know how she stuck it out. :(((

Fog at the Fortress must come with the month of June!!! :)

OK ☺♥

It will be a lot windier, a little damper...with fog at Fort Louisbourg, you better bring a warm jacket. ❤️

Thank you, Faye. It has been a lovely visit to PEI but I'm eager now for Cape Breton. ♥♥

We loved PEI, Jill, but we still had Cape Breton to look forward to...although we would gladly return to PEI for an even longer stay. :)))

You would have been sad to finish this wonderful holiday Faye. Thanks for sharing it. Jill
