The New Kits on the Block!

They are darling!

Brie1648, Rocky and Pebbles were kittens, from a friend of a friend. They were wonderful pets from beginning to end, gentle and loving and I miss them terribly. But they were 15 and 16 years old when they died, and I'm getting to old to think I'll be able to raise new kittens to an old age, so the older cats make more sense. But I am beginning to crave a presence again, I guess the mourning period is over, Pebbles died in July. And every time I see your babies, the need is lifted higher again. I guess they'll be my birthday present for November. Thanks for your posting, it's been very helpful...Sherry

yep Brie...havent seen them but once or twice...with momma...so we are lucky to have the two...never left our house...thank God we didnt have to....no damage...we live in a mobile home community in polk county...and I have so many kitties already....they are all my babies...but these two will be blessed by our priest and then taken to be adopted....thank you for answering me back...hugs...kathleen

It must have been so sad to have to leave your pets. We had one lady I saw on the news - she had to choose which one to take. The three others had to be left. She left them in the crate. I suppose they really didn't have a chance...
Sherry - I think adopting older cats is a wonderful thing. My Lily was a young adult and Sid, the stray, is about seven - though he adopted me.
If we hadn't had Ziggy, who is 9, we would have had the mother and grandma.
Rescue kitties are always the best - they seem to know and give back so much love.
Please post pictures when you have them.
I'll let everyone know when we have names.

I love the babies...they are adorable Brie...I have 2 myself...rescued them during Irma...dont really have names for them except heracane and himacane...the male has no tail and is grey with white markings and the female has long hair and is torti and white with a black tip on the end of her tail...they have 2 other siblings but couldnt get them...you have some pretty good choices for names from all your jigidi friends...please keep us informed as to what you will name these beautiful babies...hugs...kathleen

I know I have kitten envy, amazing how much they look like my babies, thank you Brie, you have helped me move my period of mourning along quickly -- as has everyone else who has commented on this picture and who keep bringing it back up.

I will be going to the shelter before the end of the month, but not for babies, hopefully there will be two adults who get along really well. These little kitlets are amazingly beautiful. I was, and you are, extremely lucky!!...Sherry

Oh thank you everyone! The names will come - though I do like Tabitha and Thaddius (I did think of Park and Ride but that went down not too well!)
Impie, I thought of Goofie as soon as I saw them - especially with the little whiskers on the ears...
So, there will be a daily dose of kitten for a while with the odd hedgehog too.
Life is good here :o))

For some reason I look at them and think Tabitha, and Thaddius. Adorable babies they are no matter what you end up naming them.

Awwwwwww.....what a little darlings!!!!....very pretty coats and look at those beautiful eyes and I love the little tuft on the tip of the ears!.....I love tabbies but in particular combined with white!....But I don't need to tell you that, do I Brie ? ♥
