Why are you reporting this puzzle?

Julian walked down a path to get another view of Owachoma Bridge. Too steep for me and not a very firm footing. Fabulous rocks there.

He is very fit and was stunned that he had to keep resting as he walked back up. Then we realized just how high we were here, about 6500 feet (1980 meters) compared to our home here which is 918 feet (280 meters) above sea level. No wonder he was puffing!

Thanks PG, it does make a difference what you are used to. Janet.

I did a hike in the mountains this last summer and the top of the mountain was around 8,500 feet and I was very short of breath because I live at 30 feet elevation back here at home.

Beautiful Janet , Hugs dear friend xxx

Yes luckily you had warned us about how high it was Barb, so we took our warm coats. Just as well I didn't go down there as I'm asthmatic! I wouldn't have gone anyway, too steep and rolly small rocks, not good for me. Thanks and hugs my friend. ♥☺♥

SunnyBarb25

That higher elevation sure makes the difference no matter how fit one is....LOL Beautiful rocks and I love the whole picture. Thanks, Janet and hugs my friend ☺♥♥

Thanks so much Daasha, hugs to you. ♥♥♥

I agree with you Jan, those rocks are just so beautifully looking.

Thanks Val, when I was younger I could do walks like this but I'm much too accident prone now. Just as well I didn't go down there as I'm asthmatic, I may have been in serious trouble. Hugs my friend. ♥♥♥

Janet the colours are wonderful, like you I would be watching not walking Hugs♥♥♥

jan42ful

Thanks Bekka, everywhere we went the rocks were different. The colours were fabulous. Hugs ♥

jan42ful

Yes Jill, I don't go on steep or slippery type slopes any more. I'd have been there when I was younger but not now. Thanks and hugs. ♥

Bekkabee

These rocks are different from the ones you've showed us, and yet they're just as beautiful. Thank you, Jan!

JillianB

Yep my hubby would have been down there like a shot and I would have been exactly were you were Janet! Great photo, thank you.

Jacki, he felt quite worried when he got back to me, but we were reassured to see the height sign! A friend told me that they train some athletes in these mountains in Utah to expand their lung capacity. I can believe it! Hugs my friend.

bluebird42

It is a very beautiful and unusual area, Janet. My house might be about 40 feet (12 meters) above sea level. I doubt I'd be very happy with the uphill part of Julian's trek! Hugs.

jan42ful

Thanks Jigsaw, I am not so fit but Julian is, he regularly walks up the steep hill in our town. Janet.

jan42ful

Thanks so much Bobbie, yes we were certainly not used to that height. Hugs my friend. ♥♥

Jigsawfanatic

That looks like quite a trek. I get out of breath just walking across the room. My hiking days are over.
