Plaids!! ~ M

Oooh. These were some of my earliest plaids that I made, I think Jerri. So interesting to look back on them. And I'm glad you like the colours, and can see a contrast in them. I'm kind of surprised that I didn't get any comments about it being hard to solve due to their similarity! It's very common feedback for me - despite efforts to not make puzzles like that! Anyhoo. I'm happy to know that you think this one is gggggrrrrreeeeeaaaatttt!! (❛ᴗ❛)

THESE PLAIDS ARE DIFFERENT. NOT THE USUAL ONES YOU POST. I REALLY LIKE THEM.
THE CONTRAST IN COLORS IS GREAT....OR AS TONY THE TIGER USED TO SAY

No, not the bevelling, I mean how the shape of the pieces itself. The roundish part that sticks out...

No, didn't have anything to do with the patterns.. Looked up a word that came close in order to try and explain. The "bulges' are perfect in this one. Look at the bulges and the whole puzzle falls into place almost on its own :-))

Thanks Maddie! I guess these aren't really plaid to me either - plaid isn't a word we use here. I tend to think of it as being American, and associate it with golf pants. LOL!! Over here we would call this fabric tartan or checked. But here on Jigidi, it seems to be referred to as plaid, so I do too. LOL! And my poor old translator doesn't know what "tjoepkes" means either. But, from the context that you used it in, I think it means pattern or colour placement? Am I close? And I hope that whatever you had to leave for will be fun too. (❛ᴗ❛)

Wonderful plaids (hankies to me), Kirsten !! In gorgeous colors.. Have to go soon, but will definitely solve bigger ones today. This one was so much fun, the tjoepkes (really don't know the English word, don't even know the correct Dutch word LOL) were at exacttly the right places to make it a very easy, pleasant solve,,.
