Without The Filipinos the invasion of the Philippines would have been alot harder. The Filipinos contributions cannot be overstated. The battle of Leyte Gulf was a naval battle The marines were there on the large ships and aviation squadrons. dilubre 1 September 2017 Not only Americans Flightdeck but Filipinos as well, and it caused heavy damage to the place. Of course those lives lost during the waging of both wars are well remembered and highly appreciated.
