This old Ford Tri-Motor reminds me of the "YC-125" Aircraft that the USAF used for training us A&P Mech's at Sheppard Field, Tex. in 1951. Very similar but the "125" was designed as a transport, using 3 , R-1340 (600 HP), Pratt & Whitney Engines. I think they made about 20 of them, 4 or 5 crashed & the rest of them were used as training "mock-ups" The "Y" designation was for experimental, & of course the "C" for cargo & as such, they never got out of the experimental catagory
