@maja1940 @jerrys thank you for your input. I will remember that when I post again. I am so busy solving other puzzles and gardening, that I haven't had time to post anything. thank you both for solving☺

@olando Thank you for the tag!

The special exhibits at our Art Museum is our reason to have membership there. It is a great bonus to have "special" viewings while supporting a great institution. The main building of ours is one of two remnants of the 1904 Worlds Fair that took place here. It was the Palace of Fine Art and remains so today.

Years back when I attended a conference in California of museum publications professionals, the Getty Museum hosted and evening cocktail party at its original location (the new one was just being built then). I remember turning a corner in a gallery and seeing at the end of a long hallway one of Van Gogh's Iris paintings hanging on a beautiful taupe velvet panel. It was breathtaking!

I believe that the observation of @maja1940 is correct. The ochre surrounding wall was a distraction to the wonderful painting. Nonetheless I enjoyed my slow 22+ minutes of solve time.

Van Gogh in loved with many @olando. My explanation to your question why so few has solved your puzzle is. To much empty space for a little paint. Next time just cut the area around it and leave only picture in it. Tak care. Thank you for sharing.

I too like Van Gogh :-))

@jerrys I thought you might like it, I wonder why so few has solved it. I live near the museum ARKEN, and I was so excited when they showed Van Gogh there. I have bought a membership to the museum, and will soon go and see Picasso there. I'm glad they let me photograph.

@olando thanks for posting this iconic image! I recall being dumbstruck when at the (old) Getty Museum, turning a corner and seeing his Iris hanging at the end of the hallway against taupe velvet wall covering. His powerful paintings are awe inspiring.
