WOW! How amazing! I love having special visitors. The other week, I had an Echidna visit me (look it up people! LOL!) and then last week - a brown snake. One of the most venomous snakes in Australia. Swings and roundabouts. LOL (❛ᴗ❛)

Hunting birds at your feeder.

suemarie

We had 12 inches before it stopped yesterday, and now we have at least 4 more--and it's still snowing......

bookish

Lots of snow for you? Started heavily snowing this morning and prediction is we'll have 8"-11" by tomorrow morning.

suemarie

Shhhh----don't give them any ideas! LOL! So far, they've decided it isn't worth the effort, with all the woods around. :-)))

bookish

You live in a lovely area. BTW, the deer have damaged our 4' frost fence in two spots, jumping over it.

suemarie

Don't be silly, RitaTen--I don't always look at the title either! LOL!

No, we're miles away from stores, never mind anything industrial--but someone who was sure he knew what my house looked like described it that way. Seeing the photo reminded me of that, Ardy. We do get hawks on and off, so it's not that rare. They're beautiful to watch.

We do have lots of woods around us, which is why our backyard is fenced--it keeps the dogs in and the deer, foxes, and coyotes out, megabelle. :-)))

RitaTen

I'm sorry, I'm stupid! Already in the title tells you what this is about, I'm ashamed suemarie !!

megabelle2000

you can always remove comments....lol.....in the photo, it looks like deep woods.....enjoy.

While I was enjoying solving the puzzle Sue, your comment disappeared. But if this is an example of a semi-industrial area with close by houses I sure can't see it. ☺ Is this hawk a rare visitor then? Thanks Sue

lelabugosi

That description is Top Secret!

suemarie

Ooops--sorry about that! LOL!

suemarie

Yes, I was thinking of that (I should be more careful--think of all the clues this photo reveals). :-)

Looks just like his description (stores right in back, other houses just feet away, semi-industrial neighborhood...), doesn't it........

lelabugosi

Yes, it's a concrete jungle.

lelabugosi

This one will be nice for youngone's dossier.......

megabelle2000

great picture!!! One can feel the cold too....that hawk has his work cut out for him to find dinner...

RitaTen
