All the things I need for my craftroom!

Dotty, I have not read any of Mary Anna Evans books. My daughter may have. She most likely has heard of her. Her head is so full of useless facts, it amazes me. She may even have a book of hers on her bookshelf. She loves all genres and is a really fast reader. She helps run an on-line book club for our library system. Oh, boy, I bet it is so humid in New Orleans right now. It is starting to get humid here.

Donna, I wonder if you and your daughter have discovered the cozy mystery series of books by Mary Anna Evans (Faye Longchamp series). Faye becomes an archaeologist (but not in the typical way) and lives and works along the Florida coast. The book I'm reading now is set in New Orleans, where I am visiting my sister. Apparently the books are so historically accurate that they have been used in public schools! Enjoy!

Dotty, you would love my daughter. She has a bachelors degree in history. She spent 2 summers in college on archaeological digs in the Middle East. She then went on for a paralegal degree and worked for a lawyer for 10 years. Now she works in a library and I think she is going to go back to school for her Masters in Library Sciences. She loves school, learning, reading, and research. She also does pottery.
