The danger of his crime-solving mission was too great for Scooby Doo. In a burst of energy he split into four super-dogs, surprising even his life-long pal & owner Shaggy. On that note, I once had a dog that was part Great Dane but he thought he was a Frog Hound. He hunted frogs, diving under the water after them. He refused to swim on top of the water. He wouldn't chase or fetch a stick but would dive after & retrieve rocks thrown into the water. :-)
