Transplanting or thinning very early Spring or late Fall will often result in blooms the folling Spring. But then my son says I have 3 green thumbs. My granddaughter wanted to know where my third thumb was, LOL.
Their stems look very strong and sturdy...mine are so poor and thin, the flowers droop almost to the ground and have to be tied up...wish I knew your secret....I have heard that peonies do not like to be moved, and will not bloom again for a few years....wonder if this is true...
