Iris :-)))Lorna .. You are absolutely right ... Gets pretty cold here in Ohio ... :-)))
It seems that the writer of the poem had a knack of combining humour and truth!
Not quite that bad today though it might feel like it!!!!!☺
Tiger I'm frozen to the ground ... See ya later ... :-)))Suzy .. I love winter but the older I get the more the bones hurt ... Stay warm ... :-)))Iris .. It really does get to 35º F below ... I'm with you frozen to the ground .. :-)))
LOL!!!!! I remember having a real 35 below day in the 90s. This poem is true Ohio!!!! The predicted flurries turned into another snow shower this morning. It is a toasty 11 degrees now. Going to balmy 20s today. I am frozen to the ground and will not be leaving any time soon. Too much river water in me to say goodbye though I threaten to every winter. Shivery smiles!☺
Punkinhead lets all move to the warmer weather lands. The Tiger.
I do love winter...but the cold this year has been a bit too cold for a bit too long.
Hey kiddo why bdon't you just get in you hubby's truck and come to Indiana and see our snow. Wow, we have had two wonderful winters and this one is just about to finish my stay here in Heavens Land. The Hoosier Tiger. Burrrrrr!
You're so welcome Sandi ... :-)))
Made me smile!!! We have not had the deep snow this year, but otherwise, it would fit Missouri. Thanks for the smile, Pat.
Lucy ... Just change the Ohio to NY .... :-)))minacat2 ... Snow can get pretty deep in some parts of Ohio ... :-)))
Ah, yes, I once spent a winter in Ohio and I remember trying to get to classes in knee-deep snow ... it was pretty slow going! Brrr...!
