Why are you reporting this puzzle?

This is a photo I took last month while on an Alaskan cruise. We were just off the coast of British Columbia at the time. The weather that day was rather dark and cloudy so visibility wasn't great for sight seeing or for photography. We did spot some whales in that area. All we could see was the spouts from a whale or just a small portion of their back. If you look at the center of my photo you can see a small area on the back of one whale. On another part of the trip, I did see a whale closer to our ship that came half out of the water but I didn't have time to get a photo. The scene you see here was pretty typical of much of the coastline on our cruise. There were many islands, both big and small.

Yes, I picked out the whale before I read your comment above. I love whales and am always on the lookout for one when I see your photos of the ocean or huge bodies of water where they might be. I do wish you could have gotten a close-up of the one that came up out of the water closer to your boat. Maybe next time. :-)) Beautiful photo and I also love the mountains in the background. Fun, fun puzzle too. THANK YOU for sharing this.

dusty, Vips and Marion, I just got back from my trip to the Oregon coast. Saw lots of whales from the shore and I think I got some good photos of them. Terry

I have been on Whalesafari in the North of Norway. It had been on my bucket list for many years, and I will never forget it. We saw about ten huge Spermwhales close to the boat, and when they dived and showed the tail, wow it was fantastic. Vips
