Hello to Peggy's Cove...near Halifax, Nova Scotia

In June we travelled by rail from Vancouver (British Columbia) to Montreal (Quebec) where we spent five nights. We then took an overnight train to Moncton (New Brunswick). Next we drove to Prince Edward Island, Cape Breton (Nova Scotia), and flew home from Halifax.

Welcome to jigidi, scalahan! You'll have a great time here. Everyone is very if you have any questions, just ask and I'm sure someone will provide an answer. You'll get to know and develop a few favourites of either people you meet or certain puzzles you like. If you click the "favourites" at the top of their page, you will be notified of any new puzzles they post...and the little box in the top right-hand corner of the page will turn orange and notify you of their new well as the other puzzles that you have commented on.

As to Peggy's Cove...we may have passed each other and never even known it as we were there last June, too! If you like to drive, next trip visit Prince Edward Island...not only is the scenery wonderful, the people are absolutely terrific and so helpful and friendly. If you go farther back in my puzzles you will see lots of PEI and the gorgeous Cabot Trail on Cape Breton Island...I can't recommend them highly enough. Enjoy yourself on jigidi. Faye from Vancouver, Canada

P.S. Ardy (ringleader2) lives a bit north of you in Maryland almost across the street from DC...and Suzy (pumpkinhead) lives farther north in upstate New York. And if you'd like some more beautiful scenery, Robbie (porgy) lives in Bermuda. We met Suzy last summer in Montreal. We were supposed to meet Robbie this summer until Covid hit. :)))

We traveled from South West Virginia last June to this beautiful place. We saw and visited a lot of NS but Peggys Cove was our favorite magical place

You're very welcome, Kalizio...thank YOU for popping by. If you like lighthouses I posted quite a number of them from Prince Edward Island a few pages back. :D

What a fantastic day! Truly a wonderful experience. Thank you for posting

We wore our sneakers for sure. ;)

Very brave of you to climb them...they look steep! ♥

We climbed all over the rocks, Impie...even to the other side of the lighthouse...but you do have to take care...and watch the sea as rogue waves have swept up to the rocks and taken people out to sea. The warning here is: Stay off the black rocks! That means the wet ones...not because they are slippery but because you are within the ocean's reach. ❤️

Great photograph, Faye....did you climb the rocks to the light house or did you stay down below and enjoyed the wonderful view? :)
